Terms of Service

Effective September 23, 2026

These terms apply when you use shellseekerbyali.com or buy from Shell Seeker by Ali (“we,” “us”), a handmade shop run by Ali Turner in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Handmade, one of a kind

Every piece is handmade on a natural shell. When you order a design, you’re ordering that pattern — the shell itself will vary in shape, size, and color from the photo, and small variations in the finish are part of what makes it handmade. These differences aren’t defects.

Orders & pricing

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any applicable sales tax are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Your order is confirmed once payment goes through, and you’ll get a receipt by email. We may cancel and fully refund an order if an item can’t be made or if there’s an obvious error in a price.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don’t receive or store your full card details.

Made to order & shipping

Pieces are made after you order, so please allow extra time before your order ships. We ship within the United States only. Delivery estimates come from the carrier and aren’t guaranteed. Once a package is handed to the carrier, we’ll send you tracking; please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

Damaged or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, emailali@shellseekerbyali.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo, and we’ll replace the item or refund it.

Returns & cancellations

Because each piece is made to order, we don’t accept returns for a change of mind. You can cancel for a full refund if Ali hasn’t started making your order yet — email as soon as possible.

Photos & content

The designs, photos, and text on this site belong to Shell Seeker by Ali. Please don’t copy or use them without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Our pieces are decorative — shells can be fragile and have sharp edges, so please handle them with care and keep small pieces away from young children.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
